Pat --
I called the IR firm, Phillips, this afternoon concerning the question about capacity, and received an informative response.
He says the building that houses the assembly lines is complete and currently contains one assembly line, with space to add 5 more lines in future. First, it appears the major expense has been absorbed and addition of other assembly lines will not be as capital intensive. Additional lines can be constructed in only a couple of months, each.
Secondly, the one assembly line, he says, can produce 8-10 million subscriber - high volume units per year. The construction of the capacity was with anticipation of demand from Nokia, Motorola.. over next 1 - 2 years. Anticipation is that VARL will receive just one line of VCOs from OEMs, or small percentage of complete demand.
Military/aerospace VCO orders are anticipated, manageable quantities - in contrast to high volume subscriber orders.
Expecting, record revs before open in morning:)
