Wow, Hayes is all over the place... at least BOCI and DIMD stick to their guns on there positioning... at this point, I feel sorry for the Cardinal employees. I am still confused by the sale of Cardinal... they have excellent brand recognition in the retail market. I think something Formichelli didn't mention is that the inventory levels of both distribution and the retailers are very high. The current situation resembles the transition of 2x to 4x CD-ROMs. True, even the idea of 56K being there has made consumers back off from purchasing mid to higher priced 33.6 units. 28.8 is being heavily price-protected so nobody gets them back. 56K pricing has come in at a level that has pushed the 33.6 ceiling down hard and left no room for 28.8. BOCI introduced a 33.6 unit at $59 bucks... and it's hardware based with Plug n Play. Say Jeffrey... how do you do that text formating stuff - e-mail me instructions in you would be so kind.
