I can't remember who brought up in future FCC requirements will be met by board mfg. not box sellers. PC133 will be much more difficult to pass FCC requirements than RDRAM solution.

Every increase in clock frequency will increase the difficulty in meeting specifications. DDRDRAM will be even more difficult. Also you must consider the massive number of pins (~200) that DDRDRAM will utilize. It will be quite an undertaking to control EMI from all those pins. RDRAM will only require 30 pins per channel.

Regards,

Jim
