Earnings and Prospects kat, The funny thing is that I was trying to be conservative with my guesses yet I end-up with a blow-out 2Q, way ahead of any previous 2Q for GRIN. This would also be a record first-half performance for them, including 1997 which was their previous best year for earnings. My '99 half-year estimate (43cents) even exceeds the earnings for the YEARS, 1994, 1995, 1996 or 1998 - not bad for their two quietest quarters ! Going forward, I feel very happy about the situation with the 'order backlog at all-time highs' and with the latest news indicating that they will be ready with the new ARK puzzles in the Fall. Also, did you notice that the new line-of-credit is about 100% larger than before ? As they use this to build inventory, perhaps this is the kind of growth we can expect from this point, in the coming months. It doesn't get much better than this. Frank
