Steve, Agreed. Lee was making the comments for internal consumption in Taiwan, as well as in Bejing. Lee's competition has been accused of cozying up to the Bejing and Lee probably realized that Bejing would overreact, thus undermining his political opposition in Taiwan, while hopefully rallying the people behind him. Risky chance, but given Bejings predictable hostility to Taiwan, it is easy to yank their chains. Bejing should lighten up and create a system that entices the Taiwanese to reunify rather than constantly trying to bully them. Regards, Ron
