Do we choose?

God makes us willing through His grace. If God gives us a desire to know Christ, we
will act according to that desire and we will choose Christ.

"No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise
him up at the last day." John 6:44

"28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the
image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called,
them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be a
gainst us?" Romans 8:28-31

You have been discussing the fact that humanity has a choice as to whether or
not they follow Christ. It is not to be unless the Holy Spirit draws us through grace.

26 "But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30 I and my Father are one." John 10:26-30
