I think this company is very similar to Broadcast.com. Both companies own no technology but have tremendous eyeball traffic. I don't think it would take much for MP3.com to purchase one of the mp3 software companies and effectively control more of the delivery mechanism. Both LQID and MPPP have risks and potential. LQID because they are betting on their technology becoming accepted and MP3.com because of the low barrier to entry of competing sites. However you can't argue with a participant that has $350 million in its pocket.
