New Generation Laser Technology Targets $1 Billion TMR Market Circulase has announced that it is about to begin animal studies with a second-generation short pulse carbon-dioxide laser to scientifically establish the optimum treatment parameters for Transmyocardial Revascularization (TMR). In addition to Circulase, PLC Systems Inc , Eclipse Surgical Tech Inc , and CardioGenisis (Nasdaq: CGCP) are each seeking to commercialize lasers for this procedure, hoping to participate in a global market estimated at nearly $1 billion annually.
