All IL violators look exactly like gorillas during their final days.
AOL was the stock that nothing could stop when it went over the IL. From the top, AOL gave up about 50% as it fell to the ACT in less than 3 months.
So...ok...AOL wasn't the next MSFT. QCOM is no more likely to beat the IL than AOL was. The optimal price to short is quite a matter of timing but a graduated schedule of shorting works very well too...that is if you realize IL violation is as serious as history greatly tends to verify.
