MP3 in my opinion has all the other music compression codecs by the balls. (hope this doesn't sound like a Yahoo post (g)) They (almost all of the music industry) are scared and scrambling for position. The convenience with which MP3 is used and the innovation of the RIO has these guys shivering in their boots. Any and everyone can see that this is the forerunner in the industry. And in the end, after the shakeout, MP3 will be the successor. Remember VHS and Beta ?

In the time and space we're in right now, this technology should be flying high and wide. Here's where the negative comes to play....Alas, Schroeder. The man needs a lesson in 'Marketing, Management and Manners'.
Manners, due to his lack of concern for DIMD's shareholders.... Marketing, because as far as one knows the only place I've seen 'RIO STUFF' is on the Net. And at least one 'WIZ' store the sales clerk didn't know what I was talking about when I asked to see a 'RIO'. Can you imagine, something the size of a pack of cigs., able to store and play 2hrs. of music at almost CD quality and no moving parts ? The whole freak'n world should be on to this by now....
We all know about Management !
One last.... Just imagine this codec incorporated with 'Streaming Video' and DIMD developing a clone of 'RIO' to play that stuff. That would be big....
