Re Microsoft & Y2K

Hi Bald Eagle,

Just a personal tale about Microsoft & Y2K

I have Office 95 running on Win 98. I have installed all the patches on both, Y2K and otherwise, so I should be Y2K compliant.

When I download Microsoft's 'Y2K Product Analyser' and run it on my computer and get the following report:

Windows 98 Compliant (prerequisite required)

Explorer 5 Compliant

Outlook Express Compliant

Office Compliance Unknown

Excel Compliance Unknown

Power Point Compliance Unknown

Word Compliant

I think Mickeysoft has more problems than just a revenue downturn. Eventually, people are going to get very annoyed at this kind of BS.

Sorry, Bill Gates, but being half-compliant is a little bit like being half-pregnant.

:-((

John

PS - I guess he is trying to force me to upgrade to Office 2000
