Dan Rather annoys me. He annoys me in a Very Major Way. The day John Kennedy is missing, Dan Rather spends the ENTIRE FRIGGING DAY yapping about it. The other two networks reported the story and went wherever else they were going. Not CBS, they have this idiot who obviously feels the overpowering compulsion to make every single person that happens to flick onto his channel watch him scrounge for some tiny bit of something that might be related to something related to something connected to something slightly associated with The Possible Death of a Minor American Celebrity. And not just that day. For every day since. Every day, Dan Rather obsessed with this event. Hours and hours of this crap. Dan, you creep. Find something good to talk about. Anything. A baby being born, somebody graduating from college, somebody winning the lottery. ANYTHING Dan. Anything but the constant intention to make everyone that sees your face feel worse. You fool. You call what you do 'journalism'. Where was your journalism the day after Mary Jo went off the bridge? She died too, you know.
