This summary of the last conference call is worth reading, whatever one's position.

It starts here and goes to the next several posts.

In Part IV it states that the company is still comfortable with the year's estimates but appears to be expecting 8 cents this quarter. They originally expected to be ramping up earnings second quarter, but
"...it now looks like the ramp up will be later and steeper than they originally thought."

So now what is going to happen the next three months? The time between now and earnings is difficult to predict, although I expect to wander in the 8 to 9 range. Within 2 to 3 days after earnings, I expect to see the analysts begin their upgrades although some may wait until they have accumulated the shares they want. However, I think its clear that the upgrades will be coming so the institutions that want more than a few shares will need to be accumulating now. Will we get a dip when they report 8 cents? I may put in a limit order in the chance we do, but I think there may be too many waiting for the dip to buy, and maybe too many short that want to cover.

I am expecting new coverage. I don't think its a coincidence that (1) the stock started moving up the day of the Oppenheimer telecommunications conference and (2) that Oppenheimer (CIBC) became a market maker about the same time and (3) that management is expecting new coverage. But we will probably see IFCI go above 10 'before' they come out with coverage as they get their clients in. In about a week or two we will start seeing institutional ownership for the period ending June 30 and I am expecting to see that both Oppenheimer and Merrill Lynch are new owners. We'll see.
