Radio, Print and Business Association Alliances Provide Atlanta's Online Audience a Single Source of Information for Going Out and Getting Things Done
PASADENA, Calif., and ATLANTA, July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Ticketmaster Online-CitySearch, Inc. (Nasdaq: TMCS) has announced a series of major marketing and promotional partnerships designed to provide the best information possible to the rapidly growing online Atlanta audience. Through these strategic alliances with radio stations, print publications, business associations and the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Agency, the TMCS site, (www.atlanta.citysearch.com) will provide its users with up-to-the minute coverage on aspects of life in Atlanta and provide its customers with a large, multifaceted promotional network.

The partnerships include:
- Atlanta Magazine - CitySearch will build and host an online presence for Atlanta Magazine and will collaborate on local promotions and special events.
- WQXI 790 The Zone - CitySearch will provide content for this hot sports talk radio station and will revamp and host a new Web site for The Zone. On-air personality Steak Shapiro will refer to CitySearch's online editorial content and event listings during live radio shows.
- WKLS 96 Rock- CitySearch will provide local content for the recently launched and re-vamped 96 Rock web site. Of particular interest to 96 Rock was CitySearch's local restaurant, music and movie content.
- Atlanta Parent - CitySearch will build a Web site for this free monthly print publication, which will link to a broad range of family-related content. The two partners will also produce a weekly, kids and family email newsletter with event listings and other relevant information.
- Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Agency (MARTA) - CitySearch will integrate maps and directions about Atlanta's rapid transit system into its online database. This content will allow CitySearch users to utilize MARTA for music events, arts performances, sports events and shopping. CitySearch will also begin an advertising campaign in MARTA stations in July that will run through December. Additionally, CitySearch will serve as the sponsor for both a weekly and monthly TransCard series.
- The Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau - CitySearch will serve as the official online partner of Atlanta's main tourism agency, providing an exclusive marketing package for Atlanta CVB Members.
- Atlanta Restaurant Marketing Association - CitySearch will build and host a Web site for the trade association of Atlanta's dynamic and highly regarded dining industry. The site will highlight each ARMA member and will allow members to sell their gift certificates online. CitySearch and the ARMA will also offer an exclusive online marketing package to ARMA members.
- Atlanta Metropolitan Publishing - CitySearch will develop an online balloting form for the Atlanta Tourism Awards, an event developed by Atlanta Metropolitan Publishing.
