Is that why it has been down more than it should lately? I like Datek, but I hope it would improve the down time a little. Partly my fault: I recommend everyone to Datek when talking about trading on line. Got a whole bunch to switch over from Etrade and Schwab (but I still keep my IRA account in Schwab). I just hope its check writing would be available soon, since that's the one that pull people back. People feels more secure when they know they can take money out anytime. People also tend to trust a public traded company as well, though I wonder if that makes any difference. pooh
