Alan, very interesting idea! Two questions:

Regarding, "...are more valid support levels...", is this referring to support on a pullback? Or, is this referring to resistance to the uptrend.

For example... Previous top price was 51. Current price is 50 15/16 (up from 50). Is 51 resistance to the uptrend or support once the price moves up past 51?

Also, is the reverse true for downtrends?
