Having worked for the Govt. in my past lives.. they need 6 months to think about..6 to plan..6 to approve and 6 to purchase. We'll grow old waiting on this news. The real story is Consulting Services, Hardware
Client Servers, DASD and CMOS Processors, that are blowing the doors off the OTHER vendors in terms of performance and cost per MIP. OS390
runs great on it with no hardware outages.
