>>>'Gowan estimates it will take 10-18 months before the new facilities will be ready. Meanwhile, work will start on the west side of the property.
"Some of that demolition work will start next week," said Gerald Nicely, executive director of the Metro Development and Housing Agency, which will oversee the development.
The city must remove asbestos from abandoned buildings on the site.
Nicely said the city will provide Dell with an empty, graded lot. Using bonds from the Metro Industrial Development Board, Dell will complete roads, sewer, power lines and other infrastructure.
"They should be able to take possession fairly quickly," Nicely said.<<<

After demolition Dell can do their job. 7 months for an Austin plant from ground break to doors open, as I recall. I wonder how Nashville, in the future, will compare to Austin and Round Rock Texas as hosts to Dell? The Nashville local newspaper does not seem as intelligent about business as the Austin paper.
Cheers
Mike
