Jeff, These remote access router/hubs are a direct challenge to CSCO's 700 series and 1000 series remote access router line (X.25, ISDN, and other neat stuff). Cisco's price is around 500-1500 bucks a shot. If I were an network manager and saw the oportunity to use one vendor for ALL network products I would. Finger pointing (BB) is a pain in the ass. CSCO does not make NIC cards. COMS is a prevailing force in the NIC market, albiet a lower margin one. Make money on the high end stuff (cisco has been doing it for years). Those remote routers may cost COMS $50-$200 bucks to make, but list for about $1000. That's good margin that spells increased profit. Good news.
