Jock-great earnings report and cc. I will leave it to your demonstrated expertise to summarize, but one comment of Wilf's may change the holding period of this investor. My biggest problem with LSI's historical business model has been the disproportionate amount of capital investment (along with R&D) to go from cycle to cycle in the industry. It appears that Wilf has addressed this on both Fab cost and R&D expense with the Malaysian venture Silterra. R &D has already benefited from this venture and LSI's cap ex for late 2001 or early 2002 have been significantly reduced. Do others agree with me that this foundry venture could plug up a big cash drain and make the long-term return on capital higher and less volatile?

Best regards,

Mike
