WSJ today says MOT (sorry Chris) is about to announce a very large (read billions) contract with DDI and IDO for infrastructure. This would mean that CDMA in Japan is a done deal. MOT will have a press conference today to announce the deal. Let's watch for details. Also, remember that IDO is part of Toyota. To paraphrase the almond grower's add, all we ask is one cdma phone per car.
