Gosh golly-gee, Ian. I suppose you think your post made some sort of sense, but your choice of words leaves something to be desired.
Please explain -- how does one stick a sock in empathy?
But, to continue with my point (thanks for the opportunity), do you really think if it was your relative that plunked a light aircraft into the drink, that these millions would have been expended to recover the body? No way. And, let me remind you, that despite all the attributes of royality the Kennedy's assume, they are nothing but private citizens. I greatly resent these megabucks of my taxes being spent uselessly; if they want to commit the body to the sea, that's fine. Just don't waste all that effort and expense to haul it to the surface just to throw it back in.
The only reason to recover the aircraft is to conclusivly prove that Junior messed up, and to get the manufacturer off the litigation hook.
You can be as emotional as you want, Ian, but keep it to yourself, please. I'm interested in your thoughts (?), not your feelings.
