Yesterday I talked to Connie Fischer.
She called me to promote Rock Resources, and in the course of our conversation I asked her to compare the management of Rock Resources to that of BSW.
In the ensuing discussion she spoke at length about BSW management and their style.
Believe it or not, she made me feel better about BSW than she ever did when she worked for them.
She reminded me of the sort of professional reputation BSW management has to have in order to accomplish the recent restructuring of the company that ocurred.
She said she still believes that BSW will prosper(she still has shares), but that it is going to take a while for things to develop.
She had nothing but praise for Arthur Fisher's integrity and honesty, and she said that she thought he was getting an unfairly rough ride here.(I agree)
Her only criticism was that BSW management holds their cards VERY close to their chests, and does not communicate well with shareholders.
She attributed some of this to management's background(ie Alcan), where the company name is sufficient for people to accept not hearing any news from the company for months on end.
She said that when hole 21a came back from the lab, BSW management did not want to release only that hole but rather just make quarterly news releases.
Despite the bad feelings of people on this thread towards Connie, I felt that this was a sincere conversation.
Besides why would she make up good things to say about BSW since she is no longer there?
