That's from the article on laser surgery and night vision. I just reread it, noticing a line I hadn't before. I bolded it.

That is an important item. If your night vision is worsened by the procedure, that's one thing, from a prospective patient's point of view; if it simply isn't improved as much as was your day vision, that's quite another.

I hope one of our medical people will comment on what they think the implications of the night vision findings in the laser study might be for snrs.
