Company Profile (As of 7/99)

Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (APPI) is a pharmaceutical company dedicated to utilizing whole
plants to develop products for the treatment of human diseases. APPI has developed and protected a
unique method of manufacturing such products which has allowed the Company to receive the first IND for
a whole plant pharmaceutical. The products and manufacturing processes are protected by composition
patents and trade secrets.

The Company's roots began in Australia in 1987, as a research program to study the use of whole
plants as a source of pharmaceutical products to enhance the immune system and to combat debilitating
diseases, such as AIDS. The founders believed that plants would provide a safer and less expensive
product with fewer side effects than chemical based compounds.

APPI has expanded its efforts beyond the immune system. Patents are pending for products used to
treat AIDS, Leukemia, cancer, and Alzheimer's disease. The Company has also developed a whole plant
product, LoChol, for use as a natural cholesterol reducing remedy which will be marketed in1999, as a
nutritional supplement.

The Company's most clinically advanced pharmaceutical is a unique natural product, Abavca/Perthon
(called Abavca), derived exclusively from whole plants. Abavca has been demonstrated to overcome many
of the debilitating symptoms of the AIDS virus while enhancing the immune system. This is accomplished
at significantly less cost than the current treatment protocols for this disease.

In 1994, APPI was given an IND(investigation new drug) for Abavca from the U. S. Food and Drug
Administration. The Company started a Phase I/II clinical trial at a major New York metropolitan
teaching hospital in early 1999, in order to begin the commercialization of this product. Results of these
clinical trials will be released soon and patents for Abavca are pending.

The Company also has submitted patents on Leuknil, a whole plant product to be utilized for the
treatment of Leukemia and cancer and LMH-123 for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. These products,
along with LoChol (link to patent above), are the first products that APPI will seek to develop and distribute
internationally.

In January and February of 1999 APPI inked agreements with Sell 'Em.Com, Free Ride.Com, and
ShopNow.Com to link and/or sell APPI's products online. In March of 1999, APPI signed an agreement to be
a store site at Adatom.Com, often referred to as the "Amazon" of online catalog sites. In April of 1999 APPI announced
the spin-off of a subsidiary that will develop a vitamin and nutritional online superstore where customers can
buy APPI and other select vitamin products as well as receiving links and online information to vitamin and
nutrition sources. As this spin-off expands APPI plans to franchise rights to international distributors. Also, in April
APPI announced an exclusive joint marketing arrangement with Healthspan Inc. (OTC BB:HSPN) for distribution, marketing,
and production of APPI products in North America. Additionally, APPI announced that they will be filing a 10QSB
containing fully audited financials of the company's operations on schedule with the Securities and Exchange Commission
in August of 1999.

In June and July of 1999 APPI announced that it had signed distribution agreements with:

Manayer Najd Medical Co. for exclusive distribution of APPI products in Saudi Arabi with a minimum guarantee of $2,800,000
Manayer Egypt Medical Co. for exclusive distribution of APPI products in Egypt with a minimum guarantee of $1,863,000
Ambar Pharmacies and Health, Inc. for exclusive distribution of APPI products in Isreal with minimum guarantees of
an undisclosed amount.
