Very true however IMO, if it really works, word of mouth will take care of a lot of advertising.

If memory serves me correct, AVON had a cream of some type that many people believed would ward off mosquitoes. Seems like everyone I saw had a bottle of AVON something or other and using it only as a mosquito repellent. AVON never to my knowledge advertised it as such.

AVON is such a big company I believe it did not have a huge positive impact on their stock but I sure it did help. For a little company, it could have a much larger impact.

I do not believe in these kind of "cures" however who knows, they just might work. Hey maybe they might just repel mosquitoes as well!!

NOTE: I live in the Boston suburbs and have a vacation home in NH and in both places in the spring and early summer, mosquitoes outnumber people a million to one...on a good day!!
