The Energy Information Administration (EIA) has experienced significant software problems in the course of revising computer systems supporting the Weekly Petroleum Status Report. Consequently, the petroleum supply data for the week ending July 16, 1999 will not be published this week.

EIA expects to publish the next Weekly Petroleum Status Report, which will include petroleum supply data for the weeks ending July 16 and July 23, 1999, on the regular schedule of 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 28, 1999. EIA regrets any inconvenience to users, but believes that a complete review of the system is required prior to future publications.
