IMPORTANT LANTERN INFO: Get some battery powered Coleman ones- the safest indoor lighting of all! Northstar model #5359 H700. Cost $30.
About 24 hours on 6 Ds. 13 watt u-tube. Enough to read by and lite a room.

Far, far safer than oil lanterns and candles- no fire potential like they pose!

I am buying a year's supply of Ds- cheap in bulk. More expensive than electricity but how many months without electricity or with sparodic dirty power will we have? I'll plan for months or indefinately before
even considering the Ron's 'couple of hours'of outages!

I recommend only using this lantern, and encouraging your neighbors to also only use them too, unless you want to be awake at nites worrying about accidental fires from any one of your neighbors knocking over candles or whatever they will use....remember, when firemen won't be available, fires will spread like 'wildfire'!

The best solution is we join Bald Eagle in the Bayou- not too many fires will be started there. :)
