true story, there was a meeting in Vancouver, concerning a
diamond deposit. The brokers listened attentively to the
presentation by the geologist describing a small deposit of
kimberlite that graded about 1 carat a tonne with occasional
large stones in a placer close by. At the end of the meeting
one clever broker said "yeah, we know all that" but "what about
the nickel thermometry of the G'10 garnets???" He did not care
about diamond he just wanted to hear big words that CF Minerals
had educated him to listen for.... Trace your G'10's and look
for the correct magnetic signature, it's as simple as that, the
Siberian deposits were found with less than that.
