I just ran across this site that seems to be a fairly recent attempt (and probably a forlorn hope) at keeping up with the DSL market. (A search doesn't show it linked in this topic yet, but if I missed it sorry.) dslreports.com Among its interesting features: A line test that also shows the results of recent tests by others. A security test that (or so they say) may soon show a db of results. There's also a glossary (under "A B C DSL") that is quite helpful for those of us who are less net- or bell-headed and sometimes swamped by the acronyms here. The "Bell Watch" section presents a nice summary of DSL pricing from those folks.
