Mark,

I'm short by way of naked calls sold on AMZN and some of other the internet stocks and have been selling naked calls since April. IMO the AMZN split is a way to try and please the investor, but I believe it will back fire big time. Sure we may get a bounce due to the split and I hope we do for I will sell into the rallies even more naked calls. Take a look at what DELL did this spring when it reported their less than good earnings, they announced a split and the stock went down and still has not fully recovered. There is an art to managing a company and also an art to managing a stock of a company. The two best companies IMO that do both very well are MSFT, and WMT. Also no one has hardly mentioned the whisper number for AMZN which was suppose to be (-.41) cents, so IMO they were off big time with the whisper number. I guess it is hard to think in terms of a whisper number being less when it is a negative.

My prediction is we will see AMZN trade below $100 or $50 after the split. I'm glad you are happy now, but be very very careful and do not let the split take you.

Hank
