DRAM prices are holding steady around $ 6.50-$6.75 in USA. That is why Micron is moving up. Due to anti dumping ruling, foreign manufacturers are not selling foreign produced DRAM in USA and would not sell below $ 8.00 to avoid dumping duties.

I expect DRAM prices to approach $ 8.00 if PC demand holds good. May go to $ 10.0 in Q4. Next year, stay tuned. With Asian economies growing, more PC demand and more memory demand. No more new fabs coming up, but going to 18 nm would increase supplies. Demand should be greater than additional supplies. Dan Niles may be right that this would be $ 200 stock next year.
