Oh, please. There are some things that are beneath even your dignity, surely. Using dialogue as a verb is beneath contempt.

"I dialogued with my main man." "We broke up because he wouldn't dialogue with me." Yeesh.

Was it Steven or Lather who cited a writer for using "incent" as a verb? Instead of the cliche, "I made him an offer he couldn't refuse," it will be "I incented him with an offer he couldn't refuse."

"He was going to quit, but I incented him to stay with a nice benefits package." Oy.

Once upon a time, I thought using "impact" as a verb was the worst thing imaginable.

"The meteor will impact with the earth at 20:00 hours." "We can't give the site plan final approval until EPA determines whether the proposal impacts unfavorably on the environment."

That was 20 years ago. The slide has been inexorable.

Literate people must hold the line. Hey, how about using "literate" as a verb? Let's "literate" the ignoramuses. "He tried to use dialogue as a verb, but I literated him." Or maybe, "he thought it was ok to use dialogue as a verb, but after I usaged him, he capitulated."
