I think the point is being missed here. We all acknowledge where Q management has gotten us. Terrific. But let me say this. No matter how *brilliantly* I do my job, if I do a really boneheaded play, I get called on the carpet. That's all were talking about here.

Don't think for a moment that Q management hasn't gotten more than a few calls from the board of directors asking how this thing got botched. Somebody is going to get a new orifice on this one. Could be Thornley, could be the bankers. I don't know. At this moment in time, Thornely does not think that things have worked out brilliantly. He's probably drinking Beefeater Martinis tonite rather than Dom Perignon.

The expectation is that such magnificent guys wouldn't and shouldn't have gotten taken in by the Street's 3 Card Monty routine.

Like I said previously, do you think Gates & Co. or Buffet would have allowed themselves to have been Screwed, Blued and Tatooed by the the Street? That's really the issue for me.
