AOL and broadband question has not gone away yet, I assume. Excite CEO was on CNN yesterday. It appears that they are realizing that to be profitable Q499 they need to give up on competing with AOL in providing content. And it seemed to me that he was waiting for Steve Case and the boys to come back and he was willing to throw open the broadband doors of Excite@Home.

I think AOL will not only continue to survive but even thrive with DSL. So ATHM should get their act together very quick before it is cast away along with the NetCoalition group. I don't think that the characterization that AOL/NetCoalition is losing the broadband war. Rather, DSL is strongly positioning AOL is the speed war at which point AOL will not be affected with the outcome of NetCoalition.

Now onto speculation of tomorrow's stock price. Hard to figure. Look what happened to MSFT and IBM in spite of good earning figures 2 days ago. I also couldn't believe when somebody on CNBC said that "lately investors get nervous when they hear about good earnings report". It is their nervousness that causes them to sell. If that is so then could anybody explain why, if they have figured it out?

Thanks
