Regarding: in other words, people like MP3's because they can get easily obtain every track of every album without having to pay a penny to record labels...

I will be very interested to see how the record labels deal with the licensing issues. They do not give up about collecting their fees. ASCAP, BMI and SESAC are determined to get their pay for play. It has been a huge issue in my business, radio. How are these companies going to get around this issue or how will they deal with it? I have not known ASCAP or BMI to lose.

I love the idea of downloading music from the Internet. The record labels are political and they really manipulate the radio charts. This can open up a lot of new avenues for artists, but the downside is that those artists will want their royalties. Can anyone address that issue?

Thanks! LW
