Shtir, I think you think they think like you think... they dont IMO

Qmgmt doesnt give a shit about 155 vs 160... they need the money in a warchest... they got big plans now... they dont plot the stock price and conclude it is time to pull money out of overpriced stock... mon Dieu, brokerage houses are raising fy2k earnings by 50%... the stock is vastly underpriced, but it has the misfortune of being held by people who are sitting on massive gains, both shorterm and longterm

we will likely see a strong stock market thru midJan2k with the biggest inventory buildup in history in prep of a y2k debacle that will not happen... stocks will rise all thru that period, esp telecom

the spike in volume the last few days comes from several factors, as I see it... lots of momentum players, since this puppy is now a big-mo darling... earnings were anticipated to be huge and they came thru... plenty of people bought the earnings and the upgrades... how many upgrades, dude? lost count

I believe funds waited until yday and today, but many waited in hope of cooperation by MM to keep price down... funds are horribly restricted in their latitude to buy... they largely buy when they must, they hate the risk of buying more dear than other funds, they buy like a herd of carribou

MM are short Q shares, I am convinced... Jacobs intends to mollify shareholders, I am convinced... tech stocks will conduct a failed retest of highs, but a retest will offer Q a chance to run... S&P funds are not limited how much Q they own in shorterm situations... THEY WILL DEFEND IN THE NEXT COUPLE WEEKS until stability is met

just a tech sharecropper view
