Jul 21, 1999, (Comline via COMTEX) -- Compaq, the largest supplier of
PCs globally, has enlisted the help of the company Q-Run for the
production of its sub-$500 computers. Q-Run is expected to produce more
than 200,000 units monthly with an output of 600,000-1 million units
for orders received from August to October. Compaq is also looking
procurement costs by 15% and is reviewing the business management
ability of the company's domestic agent.
