Unfortunately, you've already been pushed off the case, but consider Lauren Bessette. Do her survivors have a case against JFK, Jr. for wrongful death? Was Jr so negligent that his estate should be liable? (under what state's laws?). The Coast Guard has been billing rescuees who were negligent for the expense of search. Should the USCG sue Jr's estate for the vast expense of this search? Instead of fussing around, give us the benefit of your off the top of the head legal analysis.
