SUNR I told it to WAKE UP again last night :-)

DENVER, Jul 22, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE via COMTEX) -- Sun River Mining, Inc. (OTCBB: SUNR) is pleased to
announce the continuing advancement of the Clavo Rico, Honduras, evaluation and due diligence study. Company
personnel are presently on site, laying out access roads and drill sites for a reverse circulation drilling program
planned to begin before the end of the month. Contract negotiations with two drill contractors are now nearing
completion.

The proposed reverse circulation drilling program consists of 8 to 10 inclined drill holes along approximately 200
meters of strike length on the mineralized shear zone. Company geologists intend to locate and orient the drill
holes to test the oxide portion of the mineralized zone and to cross-cut the zone as close as possible to
perpendicular to the main structure.

In related news, Sun River has relocated its corporate office from the previous Boulder, Colorado address, to a new
location in Golden, Colorado. The new corporate office address and telephone number is:

Sun River Mining, Inc.
350 Indiana St., Suite 800
Golden, Colo. 80401
Tel: 303/384-3415

The new office facility will give Company personnel a more central location as well as convenient access to the
geological data and research facilities available at the nearby Colorado School of Mines and U.S. Geological
Survey offices and library.

Mr. Sam Del Cielo, formerly manager of the Boulder office and Corporate Secretary and Treasurer has resigned
from Sun River to pursue other career interests. Mr. Del Cielo's former duties have been assumed by Sun River's
Chief Financial Officer Randy A. McCall.

For additional information regarding Sun River, see the Company's web site at www.sunrivermining.com, presently
being updated to reflect the above changes in objectives, progress and management.
