Believe it or not, I would like to see Amazon show a profit. I am short at the moment - but I do not hate the company. I actually like Amazon's web site - I think they have done an excellent job with the design and the functionality of the web site. I just disagree with their "bet the farm" approach to capturing business on the internet. I have acquaintances that work for Amazon, and I have friends that own the stock (and I have actually owned the stock in the past) - and while I like to make money myself, I hate to see others lose it. If Amazon makes a major move to reduce their losses (and if they show profit), I certainly would be more in favor of owning this stock.
