Sun River Mining Announces Clavo Rico, Honduras
Progress and New Corporate Address

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 22, 1999--Sun River Mining, Inc. (OTCBB: SUNR - news) is pleased to announce
the continuing advancement of the Clavo Rico, Honduras, evaluation and due diligence study. Company personnel are presently
on site, laying out access roads and drill sites for a reverse circulation drilling program planned to begin before the end of the
month. Contract negotiations with two drill contractors are now nearing completion.

The proposed reverse circulation drilling program consists of 8 to 10 inclined drill holes along approximately 200 meters of
strike length on the mineralized shear zone. Company geologists intend to locate and orient the drill holes to test the oxide
portion of the mineralized zone and to cross-cut the zone as close as possible to perpendicular to the main structure.

In related news, Sun River has relocated its corporate office from the previous Boulder, Colorado address, to a new location in
Golden, Colorado. The new corporate office address and telephone number is:

The new office facility will give Company personnel a more central location as well as convenient access to the geological data
and research facilities available at the nearby Colorado School of Mines and U.S. Geological Survey offices and library.

Mr. Sam Del Cielo, formerly manager of the Boulder office and Corporate Secretary and Treasurer has resigned from Sun
River to pursue other career interests. Mr. Del Cielo's former duties have been assumed by Sun River's Chief Financial Officer
Randy A. McCall.
