Mike,

I appreciate your calculations. However, don't forget that :

1) the 2 or 3 cents they pay to affiliates are 100% paid by the
468x60 banner in the top of the screen (on a $30/1000 view basis).

==> affiliation program = cost zero

2) I am bidding on a big number of terms, specially in french. I am amazed how I have to "fight" on several words. A month ago I bought the word "humour" for 1 cents and I was alone. Now we are 9 and I am paying 3 cents (+200% in a month) to be number 1 (my website is humour.com). It's the same evolution with 50% of the term I am bidding on.

My conclusion is :

- trafic is increasing sharply on Goto due to a very sexy affiliation program. IMO, we should see 30% growth per quarter during the next 12months

- bids are at least tripling per quarter in AVERAGE (not on popular terms like casino or books...) Once again this is a global average I am seeing on few hundreds of terms.

My conclusion is we can see at least a 200 % growth from quarter to quarter, at least for 12-18 months. It means a x3.

Q1 = 1.5
Q2 = 4.5
Q3 = 13.5
Q4 = 40

I was first of all a simple advertiser, then I became a shareholder.

YOU HAVE ALL TO BID IF YOU REALLY WANT TO UNDERSTAND GOTO !!! (and not to sell it at $50 because stupid analysts compare it with GNET or ASKJ).
