re ADI, Aware DMT & DWMT

Alex,

ADI is shipping ADSL chipsets today based on standard DMT.
These were announced in September of last year, and are in
several ADSL trials (eg GTE). We are supplying Aware & other vendors.

Aware's (patented) DWMT is a more sophisticated techique;
some people are using it for special applications,
and we proposed it at T1E1 for the upstream of VDSL (downstream as CAP
- just to prove we are open-minded about line code !!!)
