Your eyes are pretty clouded, themselves, since that 17% is 3 years old and the numbers at the bottom of the sample are current : 344 stocks recommended (including open positions), 32.4% average gain, batting average of .590 . The 17% numbers are printed because they were top numbers at the time, compared to other funds and newsletters. Comparing it to current S&P performance, as you did, isn't appropriate. That's enough arguing for me. I'd be willing to read what Cramer has said if you provide a link or copy it here. But then I don't see why I should believe Cramer any more than Murphy.
