I am conflicted in my opinion of Bill Clinton.

I never voted for him, and I strongly object to
his policies regarding the Communications Act, his
crime bills destroying civil liberties, and his
abandonment of the need for national health care.

On the other hand, I admire his handling of the
peace process in Ireland and the Middle East, for the
way he stands up to the bullies in the religious right
who would legislate religiosity, and for the way he
conducted himself with such grace under the humiliating
onslaught of the Clinton-hating jihad.

Ultimately, I find zippergate irrelevant to anything but
fodder for infantilized blathering.

Unfortunately, the people of this country are not interested
in discussing meaningful issues. It's so much easier to
sling crap.

I did vote for Nader, and I will vote for Bradley, if you
must know.
