From your profile, it appears you like shorting stocks. While anyone purchaser can experience problems with an individual handset, your anecdotal evidence is not very credible. The fact is that the sales people almost always say whatever phone the customer doesn't like, is having problems with, is not a good phone and offer another manufacturer. That way, the customer doesn't blame the carrier. I have witnessed this happening in the Sprint store. This even happens when I am sure, from the complaint, that it is a carrier problem.
