My Favorite Human Inventions: Hot water ~ refrigeration ~ radio ~ color plates ~ vasectomy.

Oh ~ maybe lingerie.

But that seems a little.....dubious. Well, maybe personal. Well, not personal, but less important. Socially speaking. But I didn't really choose them for their social importance. But that was a part of it, as all of them up there seem to have it. They would create and shape social effects. Mostly very positive, in my opinion.

They're like the "minimal," and "copious abundance-confering" components, of a Nice World. Well, not "minimal", because I'm sure life has been wonderful in some high civilizations without them. (And some low, pubescent, or "toddler" civilizations.) But we started with "human inventions." Here. I did.

I can do fine with those. Really fine.

And soap.

"They", can take the rest. I mean, if we're forced to, by some aliens civs who want half of what we have, tomorrow. Earth tribute. And then they fly on. At least for a while.

Or, if some social reform sensibility were to come to the social fore. Like an Amish were elected President.

THAT would be cool.

The Amish President.

Movers and Shakers.

"Shakers Shake Earth in Shakedown."

I like it.
