True. Nothing is happening to indicate that are regaining mkt. share--in fact mounting evidence is that they are losing mkt. share--probably, as you say, at a rate faster than we know. Whether or not they will regain that which they have lost depends on future execution. Certainly, the task is "doable," and I for one, think that the right people can make it happen in a reasonable amount of time. I also believe that the world's computing needs (all encompasing--from PC to enterprise), driven by consumer, corporate, small/medium business, internet build-out, internet marketing, telecommunications and a few areas we have not yet thought about is going to be a large and growing market for years to come. So even those that screw up have a good chance at succeeding, if not just off the crumbs. (And by no means, do I think CPQ will "screw up." There just isn't much downside left for them in that dept.)
