There is an untapped gold mine of productive workers and productivity increases. It is never mentioned. American industry is hamstrung as never before by unnecessary and counterproductive regulations administered by an ARMY of useless bureaucrats. What a GOLDEN opportunity to start pruning back this jungle. Laying off government workers can't be portrayed as heartless, there are jobs begging to be filled. If the legions of private industry employees could be freed from the burdens of feeding the government paper monster to do productive work, think of the bonanza of productivity that would be released. George W, PLEASE LISTEN.
